What we produce
Presentation models
Massing, site and building models for design reviews and internal presentations, produced to a consistent standard across a project's stages.
Competition models
High-finish models on a fixed deadline, including multi-material builds where the scheme needs to read in more than one colour.
Client meeting models
Models intended to be handled. Finished, inspected and packed for transport, with support marks kept off the faces that matter.
Design prototypes
Detail components, joinery studies, facade samples and functional parts, in FDM, resin or engineering materials.
Recurring production
Ongoing capacity for practices that produce models regularly, with reserved queue priority and predictable turnaround.
File review
Printability assessment, wall thickness and geometry checks, split strategy and orientation recommendations. No charge.
How a project runs
Every project moves through the same sequence, and you can see where yours is at any point.
Files are submitted through the portal, which routes professional submissions to the appropriate register and captures firm, project and delivery requirements at intake. Each project receives a reference in the format PBL-YYYY-#### that carries through the quote, the production queue and the invoice.
We review and slice every file before quoting, so the price and the delivery date you receive are derived from the actual build, not estimated from a file size. Estimated lead time begins once payment is received.
Capability
| Process | Capability |
|---|---|
| FDM standard | Massing and volume. Single-piece builds to 350 × 320 × 325 mm; larger models split and joined. |
| FDM detail | Fine layer heights for facade articulation and legible detail at model scale. |
| Resin | Opaque and clear, for components below the resolution of FDM. |
| Multi-material | Up to nine materials in a single build, for phasing, context separation and glazing. |
Multiple machines run in parallel, so a large model can be split across the fleet and completed faster than a single continuous build. Rush production is available subject to current queue load.
Full detail on processes, quality levels and finishes is on the materials page, and file requirements are set out in the guidelines.
Working with us
- Quoting
- Each project is quoted individually against the sliced build. Quotes include production time and a delivery date.
- Communication
- Email is the primary channel for professional projects, and carries the quote, production updates and the invoice.
- Payment
- Interac e-transfer, with the project reference included in the message. Production begins once payment is confirmed.
- Delivery
- Delivery across Toronto to your office — included on projects over $250. Courier arranged for larger projects on request.
- Confidentiality
- Project files are used only to produce your models. We do not share, publish or reuse client geometry, and we will not post work publicly without your agreement.
- Recurring work
- Practices producing models regularly can hold reserved queue capacity. Contact us to arrange it.
Complimentary sample
If physical models are part of your workflow, we will produce a sample model at no cost so your team can assess the quality directly. Send a representative piece of geometry, or ask us to produce a standard test model that shows surface finish, edge definition and detail resolution.
This is the fastest way to establish whether we are the right production partner for your practice, and it commits you to nothing.
